AV Suspended pending sales dispute

Aquiring a USP Compact
Im currently in the process of being AV'd (been waiting about a week now for it to go through) but while I waited I was checking out some websites trying to locate a KSC USP Compact and was having an extreamly hard time. I was wondering if there was a specific reason for that (out of business or something else) and if possible if someone can tell me if I would have better luck on the classifieds looking for one (if you know there are some for sale) If there is great I'll continue to wait until my AV goes through, but if not I was going to do some more research on other pistols. I know you cant tell me whos selling them but I just wanted to know if i'm wasting time waiting for my AV to go through to buy a KSC USP Compact or if I should be looking at other options.
Thank you |

What others options do you think you have besides getting age verified?
There are multiple retailers stocking them in the AV retailers section, you'll find them soon enough. Be patient. |

Unless you urgently need a toy pellet gun in the next week, it's worth the wait.

Appears that a USP compact might be hard(er) to find but it looks like they pop up for sale sometimes USP full size seems pretty common though. As for BNIB from a retailer, I'm sure they stock them sometimes.
Sorry I don't think I can say any more. Just wait it out patiently and make sure that the person who verified you actually submitted your info as it's happened before that people accidentally got skipped or the AV'er didn't submit the info.

Sorry what I meant by other options is a different pistol other than the USP, sorry if that came out wrong.
And L473ncy, I saw my AVer post my info onto the forum post, is that all that needs to be done? |

There are sometimes KSC USP's and USPc's in the classifieds.
There are DEFINITELY KWA USP's and USPc's being sold by retailers. |

The USP compact is pretty OK. Some folks have trigger breaking issues or the safety will decock but not engage after some use.
You will see some nice used ones with metal slide kits pop up in the sales section on occasion and someone might put a new KWA one up too. Your best bet is to put the cash in a holding pattern and watch and wait till one shows for sale. For other choices hit a few games up and see what's out there. Some folks love a 1911 grip, others are Glock fans, and then there are some folks who have one of each under the rainbow. Make sure you get one that will fit in a holster, and you can get spare mags for. Those are points some folks may skip over and then regret. A Broomhandle Mauser would be a cool plinker but trying to put a light on and game it wouldn't be the easiest row to hoe.

Pretty much KSC = KWA, it's the same OEM manufacturer. I prefer KSC for the correct (usually) trademarks.

Other than the trademarks is there any real negatives to each brand in terms of parts, performance etc?

Pretty much the same thing, same manufacturer. There may be slight variations between the two, but you'll have to hunt those down yourself as I don't know USPs all that well.

As I have been told. KWA is where KSC went to have their stuff made. Over time KWA grew and swallowed up it's parent.
The KWA H&K models have either non-existent, or wrong, or at worst Umarex butchery slapped on for trademarks. The KSC ones are much more exact, proper markings on a magazine for example in a place where you don't see them when you employ the pistol.
