Just to visually confirm for you for this particular gun.
Bought one from Styrak and like he said, "Cybergun Thompsons = CYMA". DSC01233.JPG Nylon bushings: DSC01230.JPG Metal gears: DSC01231.JPG |

I'm sure that the vast majority of airsoft guns have metal gears of some sort. The only guns that use plastic gears to my knowledge are those POS clearsoft guns at Canadian Tire Wal-MArt.

LOL, King Arms is rebranding everything these days.
It's probably just a CYMA. |

Styrak- Did you even consider watching the video before generalizing whether or not it is a rebrand.
It isnt a rebrand, king arms now has a Thompson out. Yes it is licenced by Cybergun because that, suprise suprise, is who owns the rights to utilize the legal trades. EDIT: More proof, Arnies thread http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forum...owtopic=190729

Wouldn't be surprised. They rebrand ACM gloves and SHS gears.

Isnt red, though i see your point about not being proof. And to those naive naysayers: How could this be a rebrand? CYMA hasnt been producing new guns since the crackdown last year. EDIT: I relised how small the pic is, getting a bigger one.

Until there's closer-up pics out there or someone opens it up, I'm going to assume it's a CYMA. Even if it is a little different, King Arms could just be taking CYMA's, and changing them a little. All depends on how it looks or what's changed inside. Last edited by Styrak; November 4th, 2010 at 02:15.. |

Well I'm just relieved that it comes with a VENTED piston head! And what are the gears highly resistant against? Spinning? Still sad over the fact that they don't have the red internals, pretty much defined my image of the KA brand.
