G&G GR 16 Gearbox Stuck in Reciever!
Okay, so my piston head is at its bitter end, with compression problems galore, i decided to swap it out for a new one, (Modify Polycarb, the one Amos recommended in his review). Anyway so the gearbox is stuck in the receiver, wont come out. I believe i have taken everything out.
I have included some pictures and a video, you may be asking about the pin, but in the video you can see it as far as it will go out, which later, as you can see, does not hinder my ability to get it out. Im not sure of what the problem is. It seems to be stuck in the rear. Sorry for the camera quality, old shitty camera, should get a new one :P YouTube - Reciever Gearbox Issue.AVI Thanks again for all your help.

Put the gun on semi, then left the front a bit and pull on an angle towards the front. I have the same gun and it can be a pain the first few times until you find that sweet spot where it just slides out nice

carefully check for screws that have backed off. their heads can interfere with gearbox exyraction.

on g&g m4, the mechbox gets stuck at the rear. You will have to just a little bit of force to clear the rear. Once you get it out, use a dremel or sandpaper to curve the rear of the receiver so it will be easier to remove in the future. My method is, lift up, tilt forward, hold onto the area of the rear and gently pull the gearbox forward and roll it out. It will be a bitch at first but once you get it, it will be easier. Hopes that helps.
