WE SCAR hammer issues

Hi

I am the new owner of a WE SCAR GBB, and after the first test propane/silicon oil mag with newly lubed internals, the following occured:
-during the (semi-auto) firing, the changing handle (and hence bolt carrier) got somewhat stuck. It unstuck when I put the gun on safe to investigate.
-while stripping the gun, a small amount of BB shavings were discovered, perhaps one shaving per 10 BB or so (0.3 g BB Bastard)
-the disk and the disk's pin on the firing hammer were dislodged and free within the gun
-the hammer in the trigger assembly shows signs of (what I think) is premature wear

Here are two pictures to illustrate. Please excuse the quality, I am not a good photographer, and these are matte black parts in a matte black casing.
1. the lower receiver

2. the dislodged parts

Now, I am quite worried about this malfunction. While I can put the disk back in place, I do not trust such a solution to work due to the ease with which it got out and the wear of the hammer.

Does any one know what might be the cause of this?

Thank you.

Not sure why the hammer pin came out...looks like it broke (can't see it very well).

Replacing the pin would sort that out, unless the hammer is mangled someway.

You'll need to take the trigger assembly out and take it apart.

Unless the pin is supposed to be longer than the hammer's hole or is supposed to possess any other parts than a cylindrical body with some grooves on one half of its length, then no, it is not broken.

Is is really supposed to hold like that? This sounds like a precarious mounting scheme to me.

Would reinstalling the disk and pin and also somehow fixing the pin in place solve the problem?

I had the same problem.

I just remounted the bits back on the hammer and squashed the pin in with some hammer taps on a hard surface and a nail to somewhat fatten up the pin at the ends so it wouldn't fall out.

Eventually I just got a replacement hammer
