Uniforms - 50's and 60's.
So here's the thing.
I have a full set of class A's for both VN and WW2 era. NEITHER fit. I am going to a 50's and 60's dance this coming weekend and my fiance has a full set of WAC Class A's. I originally wanted to match but it seems the winter has provided me a little 'insulation' I hadn't counted on... So my question is: At any time in Korea or EARLY VN, were 101st-para uniforms even moderately the same? I know the layman wouldn't know but it would bug me knowing I'm not period-correct, at least moderately. I have full WW2 101st battle kit and hope that it meshes with what would have been worn in early 'korean war' era.

You could always go as a French Paratrooper, They wore lots of WW2 kit from the Allies in Indochina.
