Just make sure you read up on how to properly charge a battery.

An ELEMENT metal lower reviecer for a AK47 is 34.99 USD plus only 4.95 USD shipping. I live right across the boarder and I could go pick it up at the PaknShip.

Do you noobs ever read the faq especially about things like smuggling restricted items over the border? Do you not think theres a reason you got your Kraken with a clear receiver? You can try to buy one over the border, but when asked if you have anything to declare you have two options. Declare the receiver and get it seized, depending on the mood of the CBSA agent you might get charged. Otherwise you might not declare it, and if you get caught with it (chances being 99.9%, a very select few get lucky)then you will get charged with smuggling a restricted item over the border.

Read the faq here regarding this, and if you want a metal receiver, get Age Verified and buy one in the classifieds. If your not 18 your shit outta luck.

I have a kraken and occasionally still use it for indoor games. I have used both 9.6v and 8.4v batteries without a problem, however with the weaker spring I installed in mine the performance difference is almost unnoticeable. With the stronger stock spring you will notice a slight difference in performance especially when it comes to ROF. HOWEVER this does not mean you should use a 9.6v battery in a gun such as the Kraken as they are just lower end chinese clones and will be much more likely to break under the stress of a higher rate of fire. The only reason I risk using the 9.6 is because thats the only voltage of battery I have ever needed four my more powerful outdoor AEG and the Kraken is nearly a year old now and is really beaten up anyways. So in summary if the Kraken is your baby and you can not fathom doing any thing that may hurt it go with 8.4v. If you want to go up to a 9.6v be ready to do some fix ups down the road like replacing some weaker points in the gearbox such as the plastic bushings, the plastic spring guide, the cheap plastic tappet plat, or even the cheap gears or piston (I am not sure if its plastic or nylon fiber).

Theres a reason we tell people to do just this. I guess some people would rather learn for themselves.

Kk. I live right on the Canadian US boarder in a little town. When I order airsoft related items, I make sure the ship them into the US, so I can bring them across personally. Going INTO the US, the guys are assholes and nagg at you forever. When I go into Canada with the airsoft related item, I haven't gotten hassled over it, yet. The CBSA at our boarder DOESN'T EVEN ASK FOR ID. It sounds like a joke, but its not. So i usually get my parts from US websites and bring them across. I'v brought across mags, tactial add-ons, vests and other things. I may go bigger next time and bring across a metal lower reviever.
