KSC G26 Spring Guide Disassembly
Can anyone tell me how I can take it apart? I bought Proud enhancement springs for the glock, but can't seem to take the spring guide apart in order to put the new springs on. Can anyone help me out? I don't have any funds left to buy a new spring guide to put it all on.

at the top of the spring guide, is a flat part that rests in the notch on the inner barrel. look VERY closely, there is a retaining pin there. tap it out carefully, while holding the spring back with vice grips of some sort.
part # 33 in this diagram is the one i am talking about. may i also reccomend you get the RCC Recoil Spring Guide as it disassembles with no tools, and allows you choices with spring control (using both PROUD springs will likely not put the gun in battery once a mag is empty) YouTube - my recoil rod and spring Last edited by MikeMcNair; August 28th, 2009 at 11:36.. I've tried tapping it out, but it seems damn near impossible to get out. Also, I have a metal slide, not the stock plastic slide.
