Best Gun for mainly target shooting
Hi, i have read a few threads on this website on which is better, the Aftermath kraken, the broxa, or the Lycaon. But im guessing that alot of your answers were afixed to whether the gun would last on the field, where i would be mostly using it for target practise. If none of those guns are half decent, how much would I have to pay to get a decent gun, and where could I get it.

The best gun for mainly target shooting is real steel since I doubt that you have PAL so airgun would be your best choice for target shooting. It's cheap and practically easy to get than airsoft plus more durable for its price.
Those three brand that you mention above are somehow ok and would need some tune up to be field able. Get AV and looking for decent gun is not hard. The budget around 400 to 500 $ would get a decent gun like G&G full metal or sometime CA also or probably ICS as well.

Best gun for plinking if you want the best range and accuracy would be a TM M14 or TM M16. I think the M14 would serve you better IMHO. They both have long inner barrels and the M14 shoots rather high for a stock TM gun.
If you want a BA, i recommend either a TM VSR-10 or a Tanaka Gas BA of some sort (Like the L96 or Remington 700 series). In terms of accuracy, the TM would be more consistent and can be used in all weather. However the Tanaka rifles are powerful and very accurate as well. You just cant use them in cold weather. Personally, my friend and i were pegging bottle caps with my Tanaka Kar98k. But one could do it with a stock TM VSR-10. Either way, you will need to get age verified if you want access to any of these. |

If all your gonna do is shoot at targets in your backyard or whatever just buy a Canadian Tire BB gun. No need to spend a few hundred(atleast) on a airsoft gun.. an shooting an airsoft in your backyard probably isn't the best idea.
