Good place for SIG 552 parts
I am looking into parts for my JG SIG 552,
i was browsing around and say the hurricane bodies, which cost quite a hefty sum =P is there any other accessories people are aware of? Such as the folding butt that is upgraded http://www.schietsportdrv.nl/discipl...2-commando.jpg Thats the picture i found. |

That's just the cheek piece you can buy for it. TM makes one, I believe. There's also a scope (not an expert on scopes, you can ask someone what it is), a bi-pod, and a light. There's your standard grip on there. And of course, two clipped mags, but that's not anything special for a SiG.

That's a photo of a real steel Swiss Arms Black Special Target(flattop) that looks like it has been converted to a CQB barrel. But it also looks photoshopped.
But it for sure is a semi-auto SA Black Special target. (look at the selector lever)

Oh, I forgot. I guess you could get the front RAS piece...non SiG, specifically, try a laser/flashlight/grenade launcher/shotgun/scope/reflex sight/bayonet.

What are you talking about?? Just how are you going to attach a non SIG RAS to it? Quad rails are available specifically made for all the SIG(Swiss Arms) models. I know for a 552, you can get cheap china ones for airsoft for cheap, all the way to real steel ones, for not cheap.

well if he is going for that look in the photo, it won't work.
the JG 552 has a fixed rear drum/diopter sight. Where the one in the photo has no rear iron sight. So if he has the top rail for a 552, the drum sight on the JG 552 will interfere with the view in the red dot sight. Also the front sight in the photo is some type of folding sight, and even it looks like it blocks the RDS view of the target. No co-witness at all possible. And with the JG front sight the RDS is useless. The closest you will get to pull that look off with the RDS is.. to get a G&G SIG 553 when they come out shortly. It has the full length flattop rail and no fixed sights. Otherwise you need a riser for your RDS for it to be of any use.

I don't think he meant he wanted specifically that he wanted to get the look in the picture. It seemed to be like he just wanted to know generally what else you could slap onto a SiG other than the metal body.
Also: You're right, I totally forgot the top rail. I never did like the top rail. The SiG looks a lot cleaner without anything on top. |

OK back to the OP
Your goona have a hard time finding even body pins for the SIG so if you like 'extras' then your out of luck. But grab the quad rail when you can along with a top rail, should you need it get one of those rail risers to get a red dot sitting where you want. Try to find the cheek rest cuz I'll buy two from you if ya do! Other than that not really many options, this is no M4

Cheekrest, body pins, all accessories you want for a SiG552 are listed right there. However, I do not know how you order directly form the site, if at all. You may need to speak with a retailer to order those parts in. Mind you, none of them are restricted, so there should be no problem and any retailer should do it without any problems (given they actually want to). The fixed sight on the back can be removed. You remove it from the inside of the body, not difficult. I'm using a scope with no special top-rail or scope rings, and the front sights do not interfere with it. Personally if I were you, I'd find someone with scope rings and try out the RDS and see if it interferes, then if it does, you can look for the extra-tall scope rings.
