Chest Rig Colours vs BDU Colours

Hello All,
I am thinking of buying a digital woodland BDU for the spring airsoft season. I already have a Cadpat (which i really dont like), ACU and Digital Urban.

I am thinking of getting a chest rig with solid colours. What colour would you suggest.

A lot of the games around here are separated Tan/Brown vs. Green....or Digital vs. Analogue....some will be US/UK vs. Everything else.

I've found it really handy to have two setups...one tan/brown and one green.

Tan/Brown
- 3 colour or multicam (which I don't acutally like 'cause it's repro)
- Eagle RRV (I think they call it Khaki, but it's pretty close to CB...at least to me)

Green
- DPM / woodland
- OD weesatch / DPM rig (too good a deal to pass up)

Other:
- Flecktarn
- Flecktarn rig

Contractor/Whatever:
- jeans/cargo pants
- black shirt
- Eagle RRV

So with those combos I can play any game...and with very few exceptions pick what side I want to play on.

If I could only have one...I'd go with DPM, it just works really well.

I find khaki to be a medium tan, CB to be a darker brown. Both will work the best as far as flexibility goes, you can wear it well with pretty much any camo out there, including desert. And works well in wooded areas too. OD is less flexible, simply because it doesn't go as well with multicam or desert camo.

I refuse to have any gear that is a camo pattern (ok, I have an Eagle holster in MC) simply because I rotate through cadpat, desert, multicam and woodland BDUs.

I'd say CB for a rig if you wanted to be able to switch between your various camos.

personally I have my MC setup and then I have my CADPAT TW setup. but that gets expensive fast

I'll agree with people on OD or CB as an ideal colour. These neutral colours will go well with just about any camo pattern. I have a CB CIRAS vest, and it works equally well with my Multicam and CADPAT TW loadouts.

CB vest with Multicam:

If you get someone with those horns, does it count as a knife kill?

Black (for outdoors) stands out so horribly even this poor colour-blind airsofter can easily see through even thick brush. And because I'm (partly) color blind, camo works really well to throw me off. I LOVE it when people on the opposite team are wearing black or ACU in the woods though. They may as well be wearing yellow and fluorescent pink BDUs instead.
