No More KSC Glocks?
Its been a while since I have been active on ASC so I'm sorry if my knowledge is outdated. Several months ago i remember hearing about a lawsuit that KSC had on their hands vs the Glock corporation in regards to copyright infringement of the Glock logo. Now when i look at international retailers they all list KSC G19's G17's and all the other Glock models as "out of stock" or "stop ordering" so im wondering what has happened?
Will KSC Glocks not be produced anymore or are they just transitioning to a new line of Glocks (System 7/NS2 possibly) without trademarks? Any informed opinions or facts would be appreciated. |

I was just wondering the same thing. I'll try to ask my supplier about it, maybe I'll be able to get more information.

ive never heard this yet. I thought KSC didn't even have the proper trades on their Glocks (i.e.: the Glock Logo on the frame of the gun).
TMs do, but not KSC. |

KSC did/do have Glock trades on the frame and slide. It was KWA that didn't have trades.
I heard about this sometime last year and hoped it wouldn't come through. What can ya do... |

I also noticed that KWA USA does not offer replacement parts for Glocks anymore so i dont know what that means.

big g instead of glock logo, and no actual glock logos on it, trades are all in the right place, but not real

Every KSC Ive handled has had full trades, even on their plastic slides.
KWA was the one that did not, which is why their trades are blank KWA and KSC are owned by the same company, however KWA exports to the US, while KSC does not. Therefore does not violate the copywrite laws in the US as KSC does not export there.

I'm pretty sure there will no longer be KSC Glocks with full trades after that lawsuit. I was looking to get a KSC Glock 17, but decided to go with the Tokyo Marui one instead. You can still buy after market frames/slides with full trades though.
