Blackhawk SERPA CQC holster
I've been thinking of getting this and this. I'm not sure if they fit together and I thought I heard somewhere here that someone had issues having them cross the boarder unless someone can point me to a local place. I know OneShotTactical has the level 2 that I believe has to be done through the phone. Any help is much appreciated.

With the CQC holster, you can unscrew the clip that is attached to the holster itself, and then screw the holster onto the leg platform. Very easy to do.
They are allowed over the border, but I'd say to look for a place to get it in Canada before going out and ordering it from the states . You'll get hit with a stupidly high brokerage fee since it usually goes through UPS. If for some reason you end up being hellbent on getting it from the states, Blackhawk itself has a package deal where you get the leg mounted platform, the CQC mount and a molle mount as well. But yet again, try and get it in country first. Last edited by Loathing; February 7th, 2010 at 15:59.. |

Yeah, I have been looking around a little and only found OneShotTactical but it looks like it needs to be done as a custom order since they have none in stock. Opsgear from the link seems to also do USPS so if it comes to me ordering them from stateside, I will ask them about shipping through Post over UPS.

Opsgear carries SERPA holsters, and they ship by USPS.

In case you were wondering, the Blackhawk "Sportster" holster also works with the CQC platform. In fact, it also works with the EbayBanned copy of the platform as well. The Sportster is the older version that they have brought back. The holsters usually retail for $30.00 USD, but only come in gray color.

I was just going to complain about Opticsplanet's payment system (scanned copy of Credit cards) for international, but noticed they added paypal. Score.

I've used these guyshttp://www.ecoppolicesupply.biz/servlet/StoreFront a couple times for my Blackhawk needs. Especially for the elusive left handed p226 SERPA. They are based out of Colorado. They ship international via USPS and have decent pricing. They also have an Ebay store with most of their non-ITAR restricted stuff.

You know there are tons of real Blackhawk serpas on ebay.
I was thinking of getting a real carbon fibre CQC holster and pairing it with the replica drop leg platform. Has anybody had experience with both the rep drop leg an the real drop leg? Have you noticed a difference?

We are currently out of stock on the drop leg ones. We had a run on them with guys headed to Hati.
We try and keep these in stock and will be getting more in soon. If we are ever out of stock just send us an email of what you want and we will try and give you an eta. You will also be called or emailed as soon as they arrive back in stock. Right now I believe we just have the belt 1911 version in stock.

Check Huang store as I have one of those and they are ok and real close to the real thing as I do have the real Serpa too... Plus with Huang, you get the drop leg holster and the holster.
I used to loved the 6004 Safariland but now I am loving the Serpa...even got the Level 3 with the blackhawk light - great combo for a glock 17 ! D |

Well thats why I have the platform up also, I'd like to swap out my Glock17 or my 5.1 hi capa from either drop down or belt depending on how I feel like running or decide to go for CAPS.

I found the replica holster release lock button pin often comes out of the plastic shell. The real ones are not that expensive.
Spend the $50 and get a real carbon fibre one so your gun can be secure.
