Gear Suggestions/Comments
Although I only have one set of camo at the moment, I have several other items to "accessorize" the MARPAT, in one picture I am wearing a green military balaclava, along with a olive drab/black shemagh.
In another picture, I am only wearing the MARPAT and a Jungle digital camo boonie hat without a shemagh. And in the final picture I am wearing my MARPAT with shemagh and boonie hat along with a pair of CLASSIC ARMY shooting glasses. I want to ask you and receive any comments suggestions on what could make the outfit look even sharper. What do you think so far? Does the outfit look decent enough for going out to airsoft? |

I have a pair of JT gloves I bought for when I was going to get into paintball, but then airsoft came in and bent paintball over and did only things you see in OZ to it.
Gotta try and find those, or any other suggestion for gloves? |

Believe it or not I found the best gloves (for me that is) at a horse backriding supply store I think they were called SSG or something like that .. my sister used to horseback ride and I had to take her one day .. anyway they were pure black and had a rough leathery palm and soo comfortable to wear... I also wear biking gloves as well but basically what ever you find comfortable or stylish

I don't no exactly what the actual military uses you could go to a surplus store and just pick up a pair of OD gloves... a lot of guys who do different marine/SEAL's kits use the oakley tactical gloves or a clone there of i think... don't qoute me on that all the way though

If I may make a suggestion ... I would take it easy with buying all the gear.. I go gear crazy too and my god it adds up fast... just a working stiffs opinion to another... this sport although extremely fun really really hurts the wallet... and I don't mean to be rude with this or anything.. its just I was told the same thing when I first started out :P

I do take any suggestions...and I do not buy anything i need unless I can get it cheap :P I am a penny pincher, the LBV I bought was 30 dollars..there was a sweet ass one for 130, but i saw a well used, US military actual surplus LBV worn as sin and I was like 30 bucks, hell yeah..But I am done most of my gear shopping, but I do make up lists of stuff and if its on sale or find it cheap on Kijiji (LOVE THAT SITE) i'll buy it, but yeah..I watch where I spend

Haha ya I tend to be a penny pincher sometimes too lol.. I kinda think its a good thing to be that way... as well I would love to get one of those sweet Molly vests but I figure I can wait untill I can find a used one... A lot of the gear though is a lot of my fathers old kit from work.. hes a corrections officer and they get new stuff every now and then.. plus I work in security so I use stuff from there.. Plus there is a sporting goods store that sells stuff at amazing prices.. like hogue all fit grips for like 8 bucks and alot of police/tactical gun belt gear.
EDIT: I'm gonna have to check out kijiji I have never been there

Also for gloves if your looking for cheap gloves and want something realistic, get a set of mechanix. These bad boys I've seen going for as little as $7.99 when on sale at can tire.
Also look at the themes threads if you had a certain unit or model you were looking to emulate. For a battery and charger check out: www.cheapbatterypacks.com |

But yes....Check out Kijiji, you would be surprised what you can find there, and there is even FREE STUFF, and you might even find something there free you'd want and were going to pay someplace else for it
