New Condor one point sling
Was in the market for a new sling and found a single point "bungie sling" by "Condor" at Warcraftgames. I'm really starting to like this line of gear. Anyway here are a few pics.
Old homemade sling made from a U.S.Army tie down strap! ( lol ) New single point Cost Installed In full gear Anyway just thought I would make a quick post to show this around. |

Not gonna lie, LOVE the old sling man, props on that, I'm being serious.
Nice belt ........ I'd look at replacing that next :P Let us know how the Condor holds up through some games.

There are a variety of real steel slings that are quite affordable, 5.11 Basic Single Point Series comes to mind (CDN MSRP for a comparable model is actually less than your Condor) and Pantac's damn near real steel these days. Just my 2 cents.

Though, on the condor sling.. Wow, that's the first non-real steel sling that I've seen that might actually be half decent. Is the HK hook a 1" or 1.25"? Is the triangle (the piece that connects the bit that goes around your body and connects to the side release buckle) metal or plastic? (and if that triangle is plastic, is it textured or shiney?) and, is there any makers marks on the side-release buckle? Oborous |

LOl,yes the belt is temporary but it's heavy duty leather and holds the battle belt solid, looking at replacing it with condors rigger belt soon enough.

Any surplus store should have Duty belts that should work just fine and be cheaper :P

The only way to go for slings is Blue Force Gear.
Nothing else even comes close.

+1. I bought a BFG SOC Contractor's Pak from Darrin a few years back and it's the bomb!

BFG all the way, Farmboy got me hooked on them.
PS : My one point sling from BFG was cheaper than your Condor sling.

I find Condor too pricey for it's quality, using Pantac's quality and price as a reference point, I find Condor is much lower in quality for only a little lower price. I've had a bunch of Condor pouches and was thinking about buying a vest, did a few tests on it when the clerk wasn't looking, Stitching is much weaker as when i pulled on the molle it pulled out (Big deal for most, including me) and the buttons on their molle straps on the pouches are dollar store quality. I'm going to be sticking with Pantac and/or real companies for my gear.
Now I could have been looking at their earlier stuff and they MAY have raised their quality level, but Condor left a bad taste in my mouth that i don't see going away anytime soon. |

Give it a week and I bet he will be selling.. mentioning a new piece of Condor lol. Never tried one of those styles of slings though. How do they hold up?
Not bad stuff really. Quality to cost is off IMO. Pantac gear or surplus is what I tend to run with.

LOL!! Not even a week,,,turns out that when switching to my pistol the one point isn't practical. The single point sling bounces the rifle off my legs if I try to run or move fast, when I kneel the rifle will "core sample" itself into the ground. I ended up returning the one point and have gone back to the simple two point. So I wont be field testing this product.
