CADPAT Question
I'm looking to buy myself some CADPAT for my birthday. Several hopes actually. I want to know, what are the Major differences in CPGear CADPAT and the brand Frontenac (sp?). I can't find anyone reviewing CADPAT. The ones I can find, do not go too into detail. I ask cause I'm in the states and ordering something other than US Camo is a bit odd cause I don't know how they will hold up. How close they are to the real thing, any flaws, etc. You get my idea.
Any info will help. |

Why not get the real thing? The above link or ebay.ca will get you genuine CADPAT at a reasonable price ( used ) or an unreasonable price ( brand new/factory "seconds". ) Nothing compares to the real deal, and the more used issue cadpat gets the better it works. ( Fact. ) |

I like your "G.I.Joe" sig banner, brings back memories of when I was a kid way back when.
Ya, buy the real deal, it's good stuff if you can get the newer versions of it. |

See that's what I needed, a site like that. I'm totally oblivious where to purchase it. Or which is real. I had heard some good things about CP Gear that's about it though.

Frontenac is inferior quality to issue.

But superior to other stuff, like Parklands.
You could also look at the CADPAT on SEALs Action Gear.

Dropzone is having a sale on their Hybrid shirts at the moment. Frick, I hate their website; they're not listed. It's a standard hybrid shirt (i.e. wicking material for torso, BDU/camo arms for the arms), but has the better style of pockets for the arms (verticle opening, designed for actually being able to reach it when you have a LBV on), reverse zipper (i.e. they end at the bottom, so if they snag they don't pull open making you loose your stuff in there), etc.
They fit large. I am always an XL (sometimes an XXL)... for this I'm a Large, I haven't been a large for a decade. *Disclaimer* I consider Brian a friend. His shit is great, but expensive. I was waiting for this sale to purchase mine. DZT gear is good to go, but actually has a learning curve (Why did you do that... Oh, there is a reason) which does cause WTF moments. |

DZT is fine and all but 400 is a little much for a BDU.

?? I think you're actually talking about their Recce smock, which, yes is in the $400 range. Their BDU's are comparable to other premium, GTG, HSLD built BDU's.
The hybrid shirt I was talking about was only $89. Oborous |
