SRC G36's series impact on prices on other G36's?
I'm just wondering, if the SRC g36's series cansoft has an impact on other brands g36's in terms of pricing? Some people has reviewed SRC's g36's II gen and it seems they are perfect clones of CA quality. With all the included upgrades, in the III gen version, the price is unbeatable for most of the average players.
I'm wondering if there's an impact on the TM or CA or STAR's G36's series value?

I bought a new ICS L85A2 for 550 with 2 mags a charger and battery for 550 the package in the states is 400$ without the battery and and charger so add 20$ for the charger and 50-70 for the battery its the ics large 1800 8.4v that sells on mach1 airsoft for 70$ so the whole packages is around 500 in the states . i paid 550 thats like 1.1x the cost overseas.
i think More then 2-2.5x the price is extremly unreasonable an example is when wetti scars that cost 220-280 in the states go for 700-800 new here when they should be more like 450-550 here. blah blah blah supply and demand . Seems like theres enough of them going around to supply everyone who want's one.

I will agree that SOME high end guns are fair value there not over inflated like the lower priced guns i mean if someone could actualy bring in china guns at 2x im pretty sure they would make much more money then the guy selling them at 3.5x

You pay much less markup for a high quality gun like a TM, CA or G&P than you do on a JG or something cheap and shitty.

I can see why people complain about cansoft. But how does a cansoft like SRC Gen 3 compare to "quality" airsoft like TM/CA? Take the standard M4 Carbine for example. Obviously the lower receiver is see through plastic, but the internals seem to outperform a stock TM/CA, and on the par with upgraded ones.
So is it worth it to pay the premium for a TM/CA that's in used condition internally/externally in the classified (even more premium for brand new), for the non see through metal body while it may have lower performance than a SRC? |

of course then you have gbbrs wich automatically makes the price go from 300-350 overseas to 1200 here
where if it was an aeg it goes from 300-350 to 550-650 makes sense doesn't it... On the performance of src/kwa vs tm/ca they cost roughly 400 a metal body new goes for about 200 +/- thats 600$ for a gun that in theory will out perform the tm/ca without any upgrades. plus kwa has shitty trades

The issue with the china cansoft guns is that the market is cornered by a couple of distributors that work tirelessly to be the exclusive importers / distributors of those brands in Canada. That's why the CAS G&G and KJW guns sell for well over 2x what their comparable foreign models (often full metal guns) cost out of country. They've established their market, made themselves the exclusive distributors, and charge whatever they want because they can. That's what a monopoly does to the market. Remember back in the day when Bell used to charge 20+ cents / minute for long distance and had no long distance plans? See what happened once the market opened up? Same deal here.
So far, the only 2 importers that I can see have fair prices with reasonable markups on their goods are Velocity Arms with their new custom JG line, and Mach 1 with their ICS line. If you compare prices to US pricing for the equivalent non-clear products, you'll find that the markup is 1.5-2x, rather than the 2-3x from the others.

Guys, the case im talking about is SRC g36's series VS TM / CA g36's series stock. I want buy a G36 but i am stuck with SRC's fully internal upgraded for 400$ (with extra 100$, i can get a better tightbore barrel+mags) or for 550$ for a TM / CA g36's stock ......
it's really hard choice for me lol
