It's easiest if you get another brand of upper.
I have a re-threading die which you may try to use, but it's damn near impossible to use, and even when you finally get the full rotations done, the ring still won't fit. :P Not a very good re-threading die if you ask me, but it's better than nothing... |

I'd confirm what Illusion is saying.
I've used the MadBull Rethreading tool and I'm at 1 success (WE GBBR), 1 fail (G&P body...it broke) and 1 "I give up" (another G&P body). Could be the die...but it's brutal on some receivers. I flat out refuse to try to rethread them anymore. If you were trying to get a different front end...then I'd say just get a G&P delta ring...but with that RAS you're stuck. |

I used that die on a Magpul PTS receiver, and was unsuccessful in getting it to convert properly. And that was with a really harsh threading lube compound as well.
It's easiest to just get another receiver... |

I use a triangle file and some elbow grease, just file and turn it and keep doing till you get all the way down to the bottom, just dont do it to deep. I've done like 4-5 receivers this way, biggest pain in the butt ever. But its doable without breaking the body.
