Diemaco (Colt Canada) C8A3

Hi

I'm glad to present you my latest creation : A C8A3. Right now, the only thing really missing to make it nearly identical to the RS one is the Tri-Ad.

(Anybody here have one for sale ??)

Hope you like it. I can details the parts used if you are interested.

Thanks !

Vincent

The only thing I'd suggest is change the sling loop. Instead of the little 'circle-type', Diemaco uses a wider loop that lets you feed slings straight through;

Hi

Yes, I was aware that the original uses the strap loop but I was thinking that maybe the users can make some minor tuning on the rifles ?

If that's not the case I'll buy a strap loop asap !

BTW : are you the same Lerch that had Triad for sale at some point ? Do you have any idea where I could find one to finish that baby up ?

Cheers !

Vincent

good work!

but I have noted that
- the tactical charging handle should be different
- you can try to use Classic Army CA-P123M sling adapter)
- black metal mags are looking better :-)

Individual soldiers are not allowed to do anything other than "bolt on" mods, and even then it's at the discretion of the CoC.

If you're looking to replicate an "issue" C8A3 then I'd stick w/ the wide sling loop. Looking pretty awesome so far, don't forget the "A3" engraved in white beside the "C8" in the trades.

@Texas: The charging handle latch he is using is pretty close, but yeah not quite;

Looks like either TM or ICS, both make the slim type.

I think for C-series carbines,the ELCAN scope is the most unique shining-character!!

Hi

Thanks to everyone for the comments

Sling adapter : Ok, I'll get the strap one, looks better anyway

Charging handle : I think no-one makes the canadian one. This is the Madbull one, that's the closest I could find

Handguards : these are the G&P ones

For the A3 text, what would be the best way to reproduce it - how is it made on the real rifles ?

Thanks again for the interest in my project !

Yes, but not always the most practical. Especially in airsoft, haha. I like the look of the EOtech. And the A3s come issued with both in some cases, correct me if I'm wrong.

EDIT: Nice C8 by the way, haha.

Some units give out the Elcan along with the EoTech on the C8s. An it's not just the A3s that get them, theres also the C8FTHB and C8A1 at the units.
