What do you want us to think about it for? Are you planning on making a decision on a first gun or something?
Be more specific please. |

Oh the one you linked to is junk please stay away from it. It does not use TM mags it runs on AA batteries. get your age verified issue taken care of then have a look around for something better.

Thats a real Firearm.
If you are talking about the clearsoft version for buyairsoft, Don't buy it, Its crap. Save up, Get AV'ed and buy a airsoft gun. EDIT: Just saw your link. Exactly what i was talking about. didn't look on the site long enough to see if they were in the US, but i assume they are. Don't buy from out of country, It will get seized at the border.

That gun is being sold at Gorillas Surplus in Vancouver,BC. They also sell a bunch of airsoft stuff but I'm guessing it's all downhill because of clearsoft. But they do sell military gears and other cool stuff.

Yeah Gorillas Surplus even made an account here and asked what they should sell but they never did take any of the advice we gave or simply could not bring "real" airsoft. that aside I have had very good dealings with the store for other items.
It sounds like cost is an issue here, that's fine some will tell you to ignore airsoft until you have some real money to burn but you can get in with lower end stuff. Lower end guns that will actually work for you and not fall apart are still going to run you at the very least $200 to start you will need mags and batteries, goggles, BB's after that. some lower end guns to look for $200ish-$400ish - kraken - JG - G&G half clear - ICS half clear - multiple brands used/new on the classifieds here

If you're going to get an MP5, seriously go for a high quality one like a Classic Army or (non-halfbreed) ICS. TM ones are good, but I love the metal MP5 too much to ever own one.
Cheaper MP5s like the Aftermath/CYMA ones tend not to impress. (Though I've heard the performance of the JG is good)

... Wait 'till you get age verified.
Seriously. You're not gonna wither away when the thing finally processes, take your time and RESEARCH what you want, rather than jumping at any cheap name you can come across. You're only directing yourself into trouble. Last edited by Strelok; October 22nd, 2009 at 19:46.. |
