TT and Sorde are the two brands chosen to fill the role of interim tacvest. IIRC they are still planning something else for later on, this is just another leap towards it.

Hey Lerch, any info on Sorde. Its not the aussy company SORD right? I guess the TT stuff is gonna be a two piece MAV then.

That's the one, I coulda sworn they had an 'e' in it...

Anyway, they have two designs that were favored along with the MAV.

I could imagine the winning rig will eventually be made in CADPAT, but since they're only issued to roto's they're just ordering them in tan right now.

Who knows, they might be smart an just make the rigs in Coyote Brown like the USMC. Now theres no need to have a specific rig just for woodland an just for arid regions. Cut down a lot on the costs.
