Tactical Gear Stand or Tactical Scarecrow
How to build a Tactical Gear Stand Article
So, I bet a fair number of you get in shit from the wife for having gear around. The above link is a possible solution, puts most of your gear up into a decent display. Make it out of cedar; it smells nice and keeps the gear funk down. You're not breaking hangers, and your gear isn't sitting on the floor. This was pretty simple to do, I used clamps instead of the saw horses to keep the pieces together; I also added extra screws into the 'feet', attaching each leg to another leg (i.e. not all screws were going into the central post). I sanded everything as fence posts are a bit rough, and I didn't want my gear to pick up even more spliters (especially that they'd be on the inside). I put my BDU top on the hanger, then hung everything over it (as I think the season is pretty done in Edmonton), looks like a tactical scarecrow now. Oborous |

*Shrug*
Sure, but it definitely keeps your gear off the floor, smelling better (because it dries/airs out better, and the cedar), more organized, better for taking photo. Oborous |
