Helmet and Mask combo

Will a MICH replica be compatible with on your head with a paintball mask? I have an Empire E-vent and I'm wondering if its worth it getting a helmet for CQB and has to know if it'll work.

If you arn't shy about cutting your mask apart the options are limitless.

Yep.

I've found that for full face protects, ESS with a ziptied lower face mask is best. It fits with most real helmets too.

Many paintball masks will fit poorly with a rep-helmet..
but they often fit ok with a Shelmet or a Bolle helmet

military style ballistic goggles are made to fit well with military style helmets.

paintball gogs .. not so much .. but they can be made to fit ok

My JT Radar mask fits perfectly with my PASGT Helmet replica. No cutting required.

Darn. I wanted to have a somewhat authentic look and the helmet would have been an excellent addition. Though I'm not really replicating anything because I don't have the budget to, I managed to get a US issued ACU uniform, paintball mask, black plate carrier with molle attachments, and black knee pads for a SWAT attempt. I still need black boots, gloves, and elbow pads and I'm hoping to get those within the next month or two.

Interesting... do you know anybody who uses it regularly and loves it?

I have it actually. I use it for paintball but I'm switching over to airsoft. I have the CM110 with the neck guard and overall comfort level is quite high. Granted the lens is only single plane but with the amount of venting space it doesn't get fogged up at all. My only complaint about the mask would be the neck guard. It's just simple nylon mesh so it isn't very flexible at all. But at least you can remove it and wear something else around the neck if you want.
