Customs in Canada

Hey guys, does customs check every package that enters the country?? Im sure theres hundreds of packages that arrive each day, so how can they check them all??

Not all packages get checked. There isn't enough manpower to do that. For the ost part, selection can be random.

However, packages coming from certain sources that are known to sell items prohibited in Canada (like foreign airsoft retailers) get stopped and inspected with much higher frequency than others. Same with packages addressed to recipients that have previously had such prohibited items seized.

Is your train of thought headed towards, "if customs can't check everything, then maybe I can stand to risk smuggling a gun in"?

they have a list of airsoft retailers outside of country and those packages gets X-rayed immediately

Canadians typically say "eh" after a statement

Canadians like talking about the weather

They like hockey, as well as many other winter sports....oh wait you meant CBSA?

no they don't check every single package, that would be impossible unless they had like 10 times the number of employees that they have.

This means that sometimes prohibited items slip through, does it mean it's worth it to try? hell fucking no.
