Granny's Mad at Those Peckers Again

I can tell it's the Fall when my 74-yr old Mother in Law comes by, to borrow a sub-machinegun.

If I was a WoodPecker, I'd be shakin' in my WoodBoots.

She calls me on the phone "Darn pecker's r at the house again! I shot off one of the gutters with the .410. Rain's are comin' you got somethin to scare em off with, without making holes in the roof?"

"C'mon down I'll fix you up"
I gave her the two-year old Aftermath Broxa, a GIANT NIMH cell pack, a charger, and a few thousand rounds of easy-to-see-flying white .28gr ammo.

Must be working for her, because I'd HEAR about it if it wasn't...

A few years back, I used an old TM springer G17 to scare away ravens...

If you look at the gun muzzle, it's got a cone added to it to make it louder!

Back in the saddle again....
Lots of work done, wifey healing from surgery (2 of them, bless her heart) and doing well. FINALLY got PayPal set up on my site, and Granma LOVES the Aftermath Broxa!
She went out plinking three times the first day, and shot 20-30 "peckers" (why do I get all jumpy when she says that?). On the second day only two disturbances occurred. I guess they've been tunneling into the roof. Not any more, she says they got the message. she was gleefully telling me about the squirrels she expects to want her (wal)nuts in the spring.
I've created a monster!

She wants an M2HB now. She already has a 1919, but it isn't "big" enough I guess.

I just LOVE my Mother-In-Law! a spankin' new SPR just got here from airsplat, that I didn't order!

SWEET! Now since it's a GIFT, can I still chop it up into something outlandish?

Talk about timing, I've barely got the box open, and she 's got my phone ringing from half across the state. There's a catch- she DOES want the last M2 body that I didn't sell for $10,000 (funny, you'd a thought it'd go in a heartbeat) last month, and she wants it to do 500FPS.

Damn the internet, she's been READING!

Don't be surprised if you have to face down a wiry ol' broad (I mean that in the most POSITIVE sense, June!) who flat out refuses to call hits, and cackles incoherently if she's on the trigger (which is CONSTANTLY).

Wanna see a BUTTLOAD of GIGANTIC airsoft guns*?

http://www.air-sharp.com/m2.htm

*NONE of these are for sale, they are ALL in private hands now. I'm lazy, and if this looks like I want more work, tell me so I can take it down, Pronto. I just want everybody to see a LOT of my work in ONE place.

Yes, and I have the gnarled, tortured fingers to prove it!

Fun stuff, huh? I miss all my babys, I don't own ANY of the pic'd guns anymore.

I've sold/given away literally hundreds of pattern kits for these, there should be a few DIY versions showing up on the interwebs about now.
