Mag Feeding
I've got a set of 8 MAG M4 mags that have fed flawlessly for the past 3 or 4 months (several thousand BB's). They've recently started mis-feeding. I've installed several upgrades recently and therefore disassembled and reassembled the AEG several times (hop-up is still stock). All 8 mags are mis-feeding and they all started at the same time so I'm assuming they are not the culprit (perhaps they could use an oiling?). My question is could the issue be the mag catch which is showing some wear, maybe I should replace it? Or could a new charging handle spring have thrown the hop-up unit slightly off kilter?
Thanks for reading |

How are they mis-feeding, one every 4 or 5 shots mis-feeds or do they stop feeding all together.
Did you upgrade the main spring in your gun?? How long has it bein since you cleaned & lube the mags?? Your mag may not be lining up right with your hop-up unit for the BB catch/nub on your mag to work right. Last edited by zone 69; July 27th, 2009 at 04:16.. |
