You cannot buy guns outside of Canada. Period. Good thing you're getting Age Verified, there is plenty of those guns you seek in the Classifieds here.

Hello,
AirsoftGI is fine for purchasing everything apart for weapons (for obvious reasons). I bought 300$-worth of gear from AirsoftGI and they're pretty good. Shipping takes pretty long and it's annoying to pay 18$ for shipping for knee pads that cost 20$, but their quality is very good. Beware of the exchange rates too. You'd be paying in USD if you buy from them. But don't listen to other people. If you're looking for high quality gear, AirsoftGI is a great place to look. Scopes and BBs can be bought from them too. The only thing you can't purchase from them is gun parts and guns because of Canadian law (full metal bodies are prohibited in Canada). I am not age verified yet, but I am told that there is an extensive part of this site dedicated to the purchasing and selling of guns in Canada, for Canadians, that comply with Canadian laws. I suggest you get age verified and look into that! Good luck! Last edited by Eyal_T; July 18th, 2009 at 21:03.. |

Q: What is the current status of airsoft guns with respect to the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency?
A: An internal policy document for the CCRA, commonly referred to as a D-memo, identifies airsoft guns as replica firearms under the current Firearms Act. Based on that policy, the CCRA has stated that it is illegal for unlicensed individuals to import airsoft guns. The CCRA regularly seizes such imports as set out under existing operational policies and practices.

see, thank god, I knew you couldn't get 'guns' from american sites, had to make sure there
it makes me all the more relaxed to know age verified is where it's at, thank goodness but yeah, is buyairsoft- in any of your opinions - a good or bad place? or should I just shut it and check the classifieds when I can |

That's pretty much your best bet. But there are certain retailers (like 007 Airsoft, Mach1, etc.) that sell so-called 'cansoft' Airsoft guns. Although 'Cansoft' guns have decent quality and price, the classifieds are 'where it's at'.

I find the classified has a lot of overpiced guns because people modify their toys and want their money back. For beginners, I would rather get one from an online store such as the ones mentioned above. Then you can do your own modifications as you learn along the way.

Airsoft GI is a great store, they have good prices and amazing service. BUT! DO NOT! order anything restricted from them, or it WILL get taken at the border. My cousin lives in the US and every year at chritmas when im down there i pick up a case of airsoftGI brand BB's for mad cheap, its like 10 bucks for a bag of 4000 .25s and they are just re-brands of madbull.
Anyways, airsoftGI is a great store, just make sure you don't try to import anything illegal

That's one point I keep trying to stress to n00bs that they just don't seem to get. A Classic Army (or other high end brand) gun will hold its value WAY better than something like an aftermath or JG. They also generally last longer, and are far easier to upgrade because they have proper tolerances. That's why (for the most part) you only see more expensive stuff in there. Yea, some people post high.. but if you don't like the price of something, don't buy it. There's still a ton of good deals. And the best part? 90% of them aren't those retardedly overpriced G&G halfbreeds.

OP:
If you didn't get it, international sites are fine for gear and accessories (BB's, certain magazines, scopes, flashlights, clothing, certain upgrade parts etc.) but no guns from outside of Canada. Also you might see a lot of sales with SystemA this or that, new spring, new mechbox, reinforced this or that. I personally bought an upgraded gun myself but there are many stock guns to be found if you wait and have the patience.
