I got a little document that I made for a milsim, that depict some doctrines, methodes and tactics to be used while commanding small squads in airsoft. All based on real world, but adapted for airsoft. I got very good feedback from people that used it in-game.

It's in french, but I'll post it here once I finalise it. I'm in the process of revamping it with new stuff I learned this year.

SOP for Land Operations, while not classified, isn't to be used for public consumption. Even basic radio procedures could breach COMSEC. It's just one of those things that folks'll generally have to do without.

FM 24-19 RADIO OPERATOR'S HANDBOOK (24 MAY 1991)
and
MCRP 3-40.3B Radio Operator's Handbook (USMC)

these are already distributed for public consumption, they have some radio basics which are sufficient for airsoft

Lord don't care about proper radio procedure, I just want everybody to speak clearly into their radios.... Most the time I'm supposed to hear "We're ambushed send help" but because so very few players seem to be able to speak clearly with adrenalin all I hear is "GGAHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Using an identifiable call sign, providing clear info over the airwaves, and actually listening to the radio so when someone calls you can answer would be fun.

Ah yeah, ten-four Pigpen, for sure, for sure By golly it's clean clear to Flagtown. C'mon
Yeah, that's a big ten-four there Pigpen. Yeah, we definitely got the

That sounds interesting, always nice to hear what specifically has been found to work well for Airsoft.

Dummy's Guide:

1. Listen to see if anyone's already talking first.
2. Wait for a second after hitting and holding TRANSMIT before you start talking.
3. Wait for a second AFTER you are done talking before letting go of TRANSMIT.
4. Speak clearly and slowly.
5. Turn off your fucking VOX. Seriously. Do it now and never turn it on again. This means you. If you're thinking "Oh but surely you're not addressing me! My VOX works perfectly unlike the other mouth-breathers out there" then I am in fact especially talking to you because you are that guy.
