M1A1 'Basterd' Update
UPDATED!
Why? WHY NOT? MK3 MK2 Because drums don't go on M1A1's. Last edited by Andres; July 7th, 2010 at 19:02.. |

Hah! That is awesome. Now you just need the front grip that has the wooden vert grip built into it. That'd be epic.

I like.
This AEG is so cool. And it's a killer on the field. Too bad it's not more popular. Nothing is more badass than a modern SF look with an old heavy caliber weapon.

Actually yes... they do. I've seen many pictures of US and British/Canadian Troops with M1A1s that have the drum on them.
The Thompsons were designed for Trench clearing. the M1A1 was just simplified for War time production and use. Not to be an ass or anything...

All I would do is machine yourself a barrel on a lathe, you could even do it in three piece and JB weld them together or arc weld them, then to move the bolt I would just drill and cut the slot for the blot. then just realign the bolt to the vertical and bolt the spring in place.
If you want to talk about it you know me on Op-for as "boar"

As for that springer Pusangani, I saw a guy who cut the crap out of that and mounted it on a Marui and turned out half decent as an M1928: http://ww2aa.proboards.com/index.cgi...ay&thread=2570 However, he's also got the AZR tools front set. |
