So it's meant to have the "muzzle flash" effect? Or is that supposed to be covered up in the release version?

Ok. That muzzle flash is pretty awesome. It doesn't seem like the tracer bb's light up with the same brightness as the TM unit, though...

Could be the video, you'd have to do a side by side comparison to really tell though.

Thats what I thought as well. My new version TM Tracer unit lights them up real good compared to that video of the Madbull version. But the TM version does have a flash as well, just that you have to be infront of it to see it.

Is Madbull using a strobe, or is it an array of CREE L.E.D.s. Based on the claims, its probably L.E.D. based. That would also explain the lower power requirements.

Oooh that's neat!

Hopefully it can light up the BB's as bright as the TM unit

I hate that tracers in general are only offered in -14mm.

Most barrels are like that, G&P is one of the only constructor to make 14+ to force users to use their own accessories.

I recall seeing photographs of a Madbull prototype. It had a series of long slots on the side to allow light to show through for the muzzle flash effect, and a slotted outer cover which, when rotated, would either cover or uncover the slots.

Personally, I've found that firing tracer BBs does enough to call attention to one's self during a night game. You really don't need to add simulated muzzle flash.

They have 2 designs. One with the slots and the other is closed.
