Anyone know where i can buy some .25 -.20 bb's in scarborough, toronto area, w/o having to buy online i.e. stores and such.

If so, wuts the normal price of those?

Oh and how much bb's on avg. would you say you would use on an indoor and skirmish game?(general question, don't argue on opinion pls.)

I'd wager I use about 700-900 BB's for an outdoor game (~4-5 hours). I use real caps though so I really try to conserve ammo when I'm playing. My calculation was 5 real-caps at 25 BB's each (due to "wasted BB's" and such) and about 6-7 full reloads (of all 5 of my mags) for the day.

Indoors I'd assume it would be about the same BB usage unless you really like to hose down hallways and such. It really depends on the player though, much like at paintball fields. You'll see some guys just buy 100 paintballs and be fine running that for the whole day (pump action paintballers who snapshot and actually actively "snipe") then you'll see one guy buy a whole case cause he just hoses down anything that moves with his 15 BPS full auto gun.

Jeroon in Port Credit (Mississauga) and several local players bring my product to games at $10/bag for either .20 or .25 in 2000 count. You can also get them online from ASCMart.ca. If you have difficulty PM me directly and I can help you.

How much you use in a game has a lot of dependencies - length of game, style of play, etc. Its not usual in a typical day game to go through 2000 to 4000 rounds if you're really active and heavy on the trigger. I've also gone through milsim games where I've shot less than one mag. So its a hard thing to say.

It certainly cheaper than paintball....

I super agree on the cheaper than paintball part! I still don't know what kind of a player i am but i do remember using around 200-400 rounds in paintball for about 4 hrs of play.

Thanks for the info!

Ill go for the velocity arms deal too.

The Mississauga one is good too, not planning to be there soon but its good to know, and i always wanted to see army issue there anyways, so good call, thanks.

Oh i forgot to ask this from before,

Why is it bad for your gun to use .12 bb's?
What type of damage are we talking about here?

There is nothing really WRONG with them, it's just the quality of them is very low and can scratch, break, jam your gun. Not to mention, you won't be able to hit anything.

oh ok. I used .12 indoor, just to play around shooting at like 15 feet, and to check rate of fire and stuff.

It would be cool to hear some horror stories out there about this though lol

You won't find many people playing with less than .20 weights with non-softair type guns. .12 is typically the weight used by the cheaper Canadian Tire springer type guns which if you bring to a public organized game you will get your butt handed to you fast. .12s don't offer very stable flight in higher velocity guns and CQB players tend to use .20 and .25 while outdoor players use a variety of those or higher to achieve greater distance and stability and groupings.

Incidently, how old are you?
