Lower FPS
I keep seeing games that requires an aeg thats capped at 350 fps.
Is there a way to lower an aeg's fps? Kinda hard too cause these days its easy to find stock guns that easily go for 400 fps. |

If you are feel good doing some internal like changing spring on AEG to M90 then it would go under 350 fps.
www.mechbox.com , check it out. it has tutorial to do it. KND

The best way would be to open it and replace the spring. That reduces the wear on the mechbox and gets you the FPS you want. Another way is to use a velocity reducer that threads onto the outer barrel but there's 2 drawbacks: 1) Your mechbox is still running a 400FPS spring, taking a beating while only outputting 350FPS and 2) they only work on semi-auto.

or you can allways get a muzzle velocity plug that lowers the gun's fps to cqb standards fits on your barrel. Beware im hearing people getting them stuck on the gun and not comming off

so... sounds like the spring is the best solutions thats not scary...
Im guessing this works vice versa? clocking up a 350 fps to a 400 fps? if that were to happen would the gearbox be ok?(stronger spring i mean) Thanks for the kick ass answers too |

it apears that me and dpvu answered at the same time lol. If your like me and want to keep ur beauty longer then having a 350 fps spring would be cheaper in the long run.

You could get a velocity reducer unit. Just screws onto where the flash hider is.
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...roducts_id=302 That was the first link I found, you can probably find them off redwolf, ehobby, etc. That will make it an indoor and outdoor gun. Screw it on to reduce it to under 350 and you'll be good to go for indoor games and just take it off when you're playing outdoors. Otherwise a spring change might be better if you're planning on playing more inside games. WARNING: Some fields may not allow velocity reducers and will require you to do a spring change only.
