GBB Meister G17 or Bell 1911A1???
Hi,
I m considering both the Meister G17 or the Bell 1911A1 (full metal), both China Made GBB. Both are TM clone. Now, if we look at it from a quality perspective, which one would you consider the best? Meister appear to be a new comer on the GBB scene, as for Bell, they look fairly young in the market as well… Thanks

Meister by a long shot, but only the dual tone version as they come with a metal outer barrel rather than a dinky plastic one that the black version comes with. Makes the durability of the entire gun all that much better.

Thanks for the info,
Only black version is available thru my channel, but I could get another other barrel and swap it Would KSC outer barrel work?

If the gun is TM compatible, a KSC barrel won't work, as they're a different design than TM.

I own a Meister G17. Nice little gun, great trades and awesome glow in the dark sights. Shot well but the mag that came with it crapped out almost immediately.

If you want the 1911 I'd get KJW instead of Bell. Also TM clone, no trades, seems to be more proven from what I've heard.

About 7 months ago during my visit to China, BELL was shut down by local police and I was told they were shut down forever.

Meister all the way. The trades are beautiful (up to the standards of many after-market slides you'd find). Mine has seen 500+ rounds without a single failure and wear appears minimal.

for the m's G17 and b's 1911,i will recommend G17.its not a bad choice either for skirmishing or display, and bell's 1911,although with an upgraded internal system and relatively stable performance, however, compared to JP's accuracy issue, theres still a long way for bell to go. |

I am well aware this wasnt the question......BUT
I personally avoid BOTH like the plague. Buy a stock Tm glock 17. You'll get alot more out of it. The mag wont crap out on you. The internals are better than meister, metal slides arnt too expensive. Just my two cents - alex |
