M4 cqbr
Hey guys!
I can get a G&P CQBR from this guys that msg me on ASC. However, I want the outer barrel to be longer. Is it possible to replace the outer barrel with something longer? Is it easy/hard to do? Thanks for your input once again, you guys are soo resourceful. |

Yes, and it is quite easy.

Acually you wouldn't NEED to, but why not if you have all that extra space for a longer barrel, plus you'd get more accuracy.

He's right, you don't need an extended inner barrel, but you would get better groupings of shots and more effective range.
I sell both outer and inner M4 barrels Last edited by Styrak; May 4th, 2009 at 20:12.. |

Exactly, that's like upgrading your gearbox for fast ROF and not getting a higher voltage battery.

is it usually only 363mm for the inner barrel? Or are there longer ones?

Yes, I do believe that is the stock length for M4's and if not, for M4 CQB's.

363 is standard for the M4 carbine/14.5" outer barrel length.
You can also get a 407mm inner barrel, which is referred to as "M4+ length". It would protrude slightly in to your flash hider, but it would completely maximize the available length. CQBR's are either 285mm or 300mm. 300mm may protrude slightly in to the flash hider. |

EDIT: My bad, with the 407 it won't protrude, but it will be a full length M4 then, not CQB.
