threaded barrel for a 4.3?
I have been told that I wont be able to run a silencer on the 4.3 because they dont make a threaded barrel. Is this correct?
If so has anyone made one? If you have what are the specs |

It's only semi correct. You can get Tanio Koba's outer barrel which has threads to accept their one touch silencer joint. While the outer barrel isn't too difficult to get (still not available through many channels), the major caveat is that the one touch silencer joint is damn near impossible to get.
Another option is to get a silencer adapter that clamps on to an extended inner barrel. The caveat with that is when the slide racks back, it will expose a bit of the inner barrel. This is the cheapest option. The most expensive option: I can custom make one for you, but expect to poo yourself when you hear the price. I've never actually requested a quote for one, but I always estimate $250-$300 for it and the recipient always turns away after they hear that. lol. On the upside, it's a one-piece solid stainless steel bull barrel, with features built in to reduce wear to your slide which no other outer barrel on the market can do at this time. Also, being a custom, I can engrave whatever wording you like on to the chamber. |

If you have access to a lathe it wouldn't be that hard to make....
Buy a Shooter's design steel chamber for Hi-Capa, then you just have to make a outerbarrel that attaches to it... |
