Jg hk416
Hey, the 416 REALLY appeals to me and am hoping to get it some time. I was wondering where I can actually order it for future reference? And the price is about $400.00 right?
Thanks |

Ask a retailer that does custom orders.

Is that the only way to get them? And in the 416 thread, the one with the padded crane stock, is that the JG version? And which Retailers do custom orders? I know a few have stopped doing them lately, so I'm not sure.

I'm not sure what you think would be another way to get one?

Why do you have to be so sarcastic
Anyways, the only one I can find is Joe Friday. And the prices ARE $400.00 ish right? |

My brother has a JG 416 and it has the padded crane stock.
$400 sounds right. |

I'm not. I'm just curious as to where you think you can get one other than a custom order through a retailer.
And yes it would probably be $300-$400. |

Mine was 350 bought in the classifieds. Styrak's right, short of another one comin up for sale in the classifieds, a retailer is probably your only choice.

$400 is for the first version of the JG HK416. Under $400 for a used one sounds right given the condition of it.
The new version will be anywhere from $450-500 as that one is fullmetal, has MOFSET and better wiring and build quality overall. I've only seen one of the newer JG Armalites but from handling one of those that the new JG HK416 will put the first version to shame. |

JG's are coming out with full metal guns!? How much would that weigh, just curious. Like 10ish pounds?
|
April 22nd, 2009, 00:24 | #11 |
Probably about 7-8 pounds... A metal body does not add a ton of weight. A pound over a plastic body I'd estimate. Most of the weight is from the mechbox and RIS.

So when is the newer one coming out? I'm not buying this right now...probably not even this season but I will definitely get one eventually.

They're already out in small numbers. Not many are in Canada at this point.

Is the extra $50-100 dollars for the 2nd generation one worth it?

YES. no doubt.
