NEW ESS Products for Airsoft: Cortex Clip
http://www.essairsoft.com/Airsoft-Ey..._category.html
Anyone have one of these? Any retailers in Canada have them? None on ebay... I for one would like to try them out. I pulled the foam from my profiles only to realize there were huge holes for BBs to enter. Ended up ordering some pretty sweet goggles to crush my fears before the ESS were available. http://www.safetyglassesusa.com/stealthgoggles.html discuss...

I think they've just been released very recently and may not be in the typical retailers hands yet.
You could try the customer service info. http://www.essairsoft.com/customerservice.html

I have been using the ESS profile NVG with turbofan for a while now, and they are worth every penny if you ask me. I never had any fogging issues and the range vision with them is better then anything else I have tried.

I could not agree more with this statement, absolutely the best goggle out there ... this is coming from someone was constantly plagued with fogging and it really put a damper in my game.......I started with a pair of T800 Bolle's, then went to a pair of Wiley X Tac Goggles, all of them fogged on me, especially with use of my Sykes mask,.....enter ESS Profile Turbo googles, and problem solved...... I dunno. $200 US is pretty steep if you ask me for a pair of airsoft goggles, fans or not. I use a pair of ESS Land Ops (about $40) mounted with twin Fanz ($30). Seems to work fine for the price.

another good thing is with ESS you can get good customer service. I had a problem with my turbofans and they sent me a brand new pair with no questions asked
and I didn't even have a reciept. |

I don't really see the point of the nose protector?
My ESS Turbofans are the most important piece of gear I own. I'm not even really that sweaty, but damn I can fog a pair of goggles. Any other goggles I've tried end up fogging so bad that they drip. They're expensive, but well worth it in my opinion.

Nose protection,
1) ESS did some testing and they found that on some folks there was a gap along their nose and the goggle frame that BB's would shoot up and into the googles. A bit of an issue in our sue happy world. 2) For some folks nose shots are no fun!

Not sure I would like to invest 200 $ since the Bolle T800 already did that job. I got a pair almost 1 year and half now never get any foggy at all as long as you knew how to take care it.

Apparently if you get hit in the nose under the right circumstances you can black out... Never had this happen to me, nor have I ever seen it happen... but I remember reading something about ESS doing some testing or something like that.

Investing in these will save you buying the wrong pair now.. Just accept it and pay for them and in their first use they will make you happy.. Hell man its your vision. While all us turbofan ppl sit there in humid weather and laugh at all the foggy bastards running into trees..
