Anyone know where I can get a Tokyo Marui M4 SOPMOD? I think this is the gun I want the most. Thanks!

Well, since your age verified, start browsing the AV retailers and classifieds. You should be able to find just about anything for sale there, but be prepared to pay more than the list price (i.e. the prices on sites like www.redwolfairsoft.com), usually by a lot too. however, this tends to be the safest way of getting black guns, compared to smuggling them in yourself, so start browsing, and start saving.

Thanks for your reply Danniech. I was actually browsing through the classifieds and the AV retailers, but couldn't find the TM M4 SOPMOD. Can AV retailers/members of the classified section access Red Wolf Airsoft since they are based in USA, HK and UK? The reason why im asking is because Red Wolf Airsoft has the gun I want. Thanks

At this time the best way to attempt to find a SOPMOD would be to contact an age verifed retailer and communicate in them with hopes of setting up a transacation.
At this time Im not even sure that there are any in Canada at all, however there are rumors that there are atleast a handful already in country and privately owned.

36,900 yen which is about $482 CAD You'll be paying at least 800 bucks for one in Toronto since A) pretty damn hard to get B) import fees and taxes. plan on spending over $1k if you want it with a battery and a few extra clips. The battery not standard and neither are the clips. Personally I'd go for a cheaper gun. One of my buddies out here (in Japan) has a SOPMOD and I've played a few games with it. Aside from the bb's not dropping out during mag changes, and the bolt coming back when the clip is empty (and that only happens if you set up your mags properly) it is not that realistic looking of a gun. My m4 which has all kinds of upgrades shoots better, looks better, sounds better, feels better. Yeah it still drops BB's out when I change mags... but I don't really care that much. All about preference though. If you got your heart set on it, it's a pretty decent gun. |

Yikes man, yeah, $1,000 is a lot of cake, but I wouldn't be surprised if it retailed for that. ...the crappy exchange rate isn't helping either.

Thats the only unfortunet thing about the SOPMOD as you require special batteries and special magazines for it to operate. I suppose you could rewire the gun but then you would be removing the feature of its quick drop in battery.
And from what I understand, the magazines are expensive as well.

Mags you can get from overseas for US$30 plus shipping or less. They aren't restricted so should get through (there is ALWAYS a risk, even mechbox shells have been seized as "gun parts" but its very rare.)
Seems expensive for mags because you can get King Arms metal lowcaps for US$9 but they are TM so are better quality (I have had countless King Arms mags fail on me in various ways.) |

Oh man... I was doing some research on the TM SOPMOD and I watched many videos of it too and I instantly fell in love with it. But after hearing how pricey the gun is, I guess I have to settle for something else.. The closest looking AEG is the G&G GR16 R4 Commando from mopic airsoft. I think they have a full metal one.

As a general rule of thumb, whatever you see the price of something on Redwolf or other foreign site, multiply that amount by 2-3x, and that's what you'll expect to pay for it in Canada.
I got the first Real Sword Type 56 known to be in Canada. It sells on Redwolf for $370 US. I paid $900 Cdn. And I got it relatively cheap, because some of the retailers were selling it for the $1100 mark.
