How big are M14 Mags....

I was wondering how big M14 mags are, are they the same size as M4 mags....Im curious if I needed to get a new vest when I get a M14 in the summer. Here is the link to my vest, in the description it only says rifle mags...that doesnt really help.http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/combat-ge...g-vest-cb.html. Any help would be nice, thank you

m14 mags are wider and shorter compared to m4/m16 mags

They are wider then M4 mags. If your vest only just barely fits an M4 mag, then it probably won't fit an M14 mag.

I have no idea if it fits or doesn't fit M4/M16 mags, I have a MP7. Ok if they don't fit what kind of vest should I get...I would like something that is similar to that setup, I have already

Judging by the pictures that does look like it should be able to hold M14 mags.

Get a MOLLE vest and buy yourself some M14 pouches, or M16/M4 double mag pouches should fit (but wouldn't be as good as dedicated M14 mag pouches).

the last picture shows one pouch with two m4 mags half sitting in it.
the m4 mags look like a tight fit.
m14 mags are wider than m4 mags
doubt the pouches will fit a m14 mag

I'm not sure as your vest has double mag pouch, you might be able to fit one mag per double pouch.
If I were you, I'd just see when I would get my M14 and act accordingly so you don't waste money on a vest you don't need.

This is why you get a MOLLE vest so you can swap out pouches for different loadouts

Ya I wont get a vest until I see if they fit or not, I'm fine with the idea of having one per double mag pouch too. Yes I'm pretty sure I will get a MOLLE vest when I get money and when I'm completely sure about the setup I want to have

Yes it does help, would you think if you left the mag in would it stretch the pouch out a bit or is that even possible with somewhat low quality vests

well... i guess if you leave the mag in the pouch it will stretch, but you can just buy a cheap modular vest from ehobby and snap m14 pouches on it, the current vest i use at indoor games costed me 25usd bucks!
