M14 scout vs M14 Socom?
as the title suggests, what are the differences between the two? both rs versions and airsoft.

Which brand? I've only seen Scout from CA, I know TM and G&G (and CA?) does SOCOM.

From what I've seen cosmetically nothing really. Some companies throw that extra rail on the top cover some dont.

Well, i think they are pretty much the same deal. I had a scout and it was identical to the SOCOM. the only difference I noticed was the flash hider.

The difference in barrel length is pretty minor, if it exists at all. I don't consider anything around 50mm or less worth mentioning, because the performance difference will be hard to determine.
