increasing fps on gbb
on average, gbb pistols usually goes below 350 with green gas. For normal 4.3 hi capa, fps doesnt even reach 300fps. So i have been thinking ways to increase the fps.
the most basic thing that i have found was to have hi flow valve for the mag. but the con is that more gas is used, thus depletes faster. I have thought about decreasing the width of the inner barrel, so there would be more friction, but that just sounds stupid. on real guns, the bullet would be able to spin so allowing more force. but then we are talking about bbs, and they are round >_>. i also thought about increasing the area of the intake by decreasing it's volume, but i dont think that it would have any significant changes and the intake might blow up. so any suggestions? You should still be able to get a full mag of BBs no problem with a high flow valve shooting propane.
Tightbore barrels are another way of increasing FPS, as are longer inner barrels. A 7" 6.01mm inner barrel with high flow valves should get you close to 400fps. |

hmm ic
so basically they are all the same, but the price difference is just that other types of propane consist of certain chemicals that removes the propane odor. so if i were to use plane propane and buy the adapter, does that mean that the adapter needs to be replace at all or just buy silicon lubricant? |

Go to Canadian Tire, get some propane canisters. Buy an adaptor and 100% pure silicone oil.
= WIN Nothing else is needed. Green gas is pretty much propane with the silicone oil in it or some such. It also apparently smells like "girl fart" .

The Airsoft Innovations gungas propane kits that I'm selling already come with ultra light weight silicone lube for your GBBs and diagrams/instructions on how to use it all.

You don't really need high FPS on a pistol if you're planning on gaming with it, 350 is the maximum for most CQB places in Canada... and most times you'll be using a pistol is when you're close to some one.
If you're planning on competition shooting with it... talk to illusion, He's the resident king of competition shooting. |
