Cold War Collectables -Victoreen CDV715 Radiological Survey Meter
From the pages of 'shit I don't need' I present you my latest purchase. It's a Civil Defense cold war era radiological survey meter made by the Victoreen Instrument Company in Cleveland Ohio. It's kinda nifty to own a piece of equipment during the days when radiological threat was very real. Looks cool, probably works too... but if I see this needle deflect then im gettin the hell outta here. It's used to survey massive amounts of radiation rather than tiny amounts so if the needle actually moves then we're all doomed lol. It runs off a single D Cell and sure as hell looks cool on the shelf! Great as a prop for airsoft games or for your cold war collectors! Dont know if it's entirely airsoft related but hey!
