G&G GR16A3 and AFTERMATH kraken AK47

Hey guys, does any1 here own or have owned the G&G GR16A3 or the AFTERMATH kraken AK47? I have heard many good things about them, and I am intending on buying both. I just want to see someone elses opinion or known facts about these guns like preformance under pressure, accuracy, and durabilaty. And if you can recommed any other guns that are actually legal here in Canada and are of great quality, please tell me so! And tell me what retailer you got it from! thanks everyone!

Gen.Guunns - the most tactical airsoft n00b. So far...

Dont know much about the G&G

but for the Kraken. Good gun for people who start out with a budget and is good for its price. You might need to replace the spring in the gun to a lower FPS or use a .25g bb cause it shoots 380 FPS with a .20g. Also heard that you might want to regrease the internals of the kraken.

Hope that helps !

Aftermath info

I have had my Kraken for over a year now with no problems. I upgraded the battery to an intellect 8.4v and that made a huge difference in the rof. The battery that comes with it is crap. I also got an Aim electric drum for it and it fits perfect and feeds great. I bought my Kraken from my local Canadian Tire. Cabella's has them for sale online for only $119.99, and their shipping is cheap.

i bought a GR16 from Velocity Arms at TAC09, so far it shoots fine, sometimes it misfeeds on full auto, but I still suspect that is a combination of the hicaps + the looseness of the mag. I put some tape around the mags and its helped

FPS limitations are there as a matter of joules, not speed. Simply changing BB weight does nothing to change the energy behind the shot. All games standards are chronied on .20's. If you're suppose to chronie on .20s and they find out you used .25's, you'll be in deep shit. (READ: probably banned from any other game hosted by whoever hosted it)

Both are great

Buy the one you like and if it`s a budget thing, the Aftermath Kraken can be had for a great price at Cabela`s. The Kraken is one of the best buys out there. They are fun and shoot hard as well.
