Charger

Hey I was just wondering what a good charger was because one of my brand new batterys died in the middle of my game. I am pretty sure the charger fried the battery because i used a vold meter and checked and it was pretty much still full. So if any one has an idea of wut a good charger would be that would be great. Thanks

http://www.greathobbies.com/ These guys are great. Look for a charger with peak detection and user selectable cell count, no auto detect. What type of battery was it you were using?

Any smart charger with "peak detection" or "digital peak detection" or "delta V detection".

Do not use a dumb wall charger.

I picked up the NPT Smart Charger from Airsoftparts.ca and its been performing very well. It's also relatively cheap, at 35$ + Shipping. Worthwhile investment IMO.

Bat

I used a mini 8.4v 1400 mAH NiMH battery and it just died. I had a 20 min speed charger without peak detect

Will that charger tell me when the battery is done charging???

Yea, seriously, get a charger that doesn't suck.

I've been using the Piranha AC/DC Digital Peak Charger for a while and really like it.
It is simple and very easy to use.

Same here. More options than a TLP charger.
