Um...what helmet is it?
If you're using a PASGT, you'll need something either with drawstring or elastic to hold it on. If you've got a Gallet, the CF helmet net is the best to work. If it's a Mk6, use a generic WW2 type helmet net and a rubber band.

'To scrim' basically means your adding real or fake foliage to something to aid in camoflage. The term scrim just stuck to the nets attached to helmets that you use to attach the foliage.
That was my helmet at the beginning of SQ, with the scrim net attached. Basically the net keeps tight with an elastic band and keeps attached by tucking the plastic tabs into the helmet liner. Anybody who's seen the Gallet and attached the regular cover will know what I mean

I bought mine when I was in Gagetown from CPGear. Expensive but I use it enough to appreciate it

I mean the Aero pads I put into it. The regular suspension was giving me wicked bruises around my head, especially when I have short/no hair. So I went a bought the pads and installed them and haven't had any problems since.
