P226 Grips?

Does anyone know where I can get Sig Sauer P226 factory grips? I wanted to change my grips of my KWA one. They don't seem to have them in Canada.

Bear in mind, you will need to dremel them out to fit them on an airsoft P226.

what like these??? http://www.sigsauer.com/SigStore/Sho...5&productid=41

under the law because grips aren't a firearm you can legally purchase them you don't need a permit to buy them also any well stocked sig dealer will have them in stock and i believe because the price is under 100 dollars they can be legally shipped across the boarder with out an export permit but I'd double check with someone with a company that deals with firearms importation.

questar is you best bet for the import info they also deal in sig firearms so they might even have a spare pair of them http://www.questar.ca/

you could also run it past CGN about said importation.

I've personally imported Hogue grips from the US, and a real SIG hammer spring housing to accommodate the grip. No issues.

Don't remember much beyond it was ordered from Brownell. I think it was an original SIG part, for a P229, though people have also done it with P226. CBSA actually checked the hammer spring housing and cleared it.

By using a real, lightly modified SIG hammer spring housing, you can cut the amount of Dremmeling required by 90%. There's a writeup on this over at Arnies, I'd have to look for the link. I think it was by a fellow named Romulus.

the only part that is considered the firearm is the frame or lower receiver and in some case's the slide so part's such as grips and apparently the spring housing as well which is why you can buy accessories like rail's grips and stocks for air soft guns which are mostly all exactly compatible with real steal versions.

keep in mind though some items require a permit to export it's best to allways check with someone who knows the us export laws

Wow thanks for the replies. Blooddrinker has nailed the grips i wanted. i've heard i might had to do some dremeling but that shouldn't be a problem. As for mags, KSC ones might fit also i believe. I have yet to try my friend's ksc mag. with all these recent things happening in bc regarding airsoft, i am being extra cautious on what comes in.
