Do you people normally use the Co2 powered pistols in your games? I'm starting to have second thoughts of bringing mines to my next game in fear that I may actually "hurt hurt" someone. Cause it shoots 480fps and with 4.5mm copper plated bbs there is a chance that it can do actual damage to someone.

holy fuck dude, your damn right that can hurt someone. that is a PELLET gun, not airsoft. did you honestly think for a second that a gun that easily embed its ammo in trees would be ok to shoot at someone else.

Traditional bb guns aren't airsoft guns and shouldn't be used as such. Not to mention that muzzle velocity is way too hot for even a sniper rifle, let alone a sidearm. There would be no point in bringing your bb gun to a game cause there's almost no chance they'll let you use it. And even if they do you're right, you could do some harm to someone. A plastic airsoft bb at 370fps can break the skin at twenty or so feet. A metal bb going at over a hundred feet more a second will definitely do worse.

That's why I asked, but thanks for the clarification but then how come I can see them for sale on Airsoft websites?

I can't speak for other sites but you won't see them for sale here. At least not in any of the airsoft guns sections. The only place you'll see them for sale here are in the misc sales section, which is for people to sell anything not airsoft.

By "Airsoft websites", he's probably referring to buyairsoft.ca.

Buyairsoft is not the be-all and end-all of airsoft.

FAR from it.

Oh, and not to mention that shooting someone with a pellet or BB gun is actually a ciminal offense... Having second thoughts? Should have never even crossed your mind in the first place to shoot someone with one of those...

Hey I was just asking, I'm new to the whole pistol game. So sorry for sounding like a total noob.

I rest my case. Common sense would have told you immediately that shooting someone with a high velocity pellet gun could result in permanent injury or even death. The question didn't need to be asked...

I'm surprised that no one suggested to shoot himself in the leg and see how long it takes to get the pellet out...

Noob does not equal no common sense and vice versa.

Did you seriously think shooting someone with a metal pellet/BB gun is ok?
