ATN Gen1 VIPER4
does anyone have the ATN gen 1 nightvision goggles?
are they anygood for quick night airsoft play? or is th quality shit? |

Build in IR, red dot that will get you shot pretty fast if not covered and the fact that you have to focus if the distance between the object you are looking at and goggles changes. Those goggles are great for navigating through dense forest, where everything is close or indoor CQB games. If you really want to have useful set for outdoor night games be prepared to spend no less than a $1000 for gen 2.

I had a ATN gen 2 monacle and it was NOT worth it.

ATN is some of the worst night vision on the market.

I had a chance to compare other gen 1 sets to my old Viper, can't really say that ATN is one of the worst brands. They all perform on the similar level in my opinion. I have 20/20 eye sight and can find my way around in the dark pretty good but Viper still saved me from getting scratched up and bumping into stuff in a forest at night.
