Echo 1 G36C - Help with Hop up please...
Well, I made a pretty terrible mistake...
I stuck the cleaning rod down the barrel while the hop up was on (forgot to turn it off) Now I think I messed up the hop up, but how do I fix it, and what parts do you normally need to fix a problem like this? Help would be great. |

You probably tore the hop-up rubber. You would need to replace it to fix it. This involves dismantaling the front of the gun, pulling out the hop-up assembly, and replacing the hop-up.

How much do those go for? Any suggestions on where to get them? And do you think I will be able to fix it myself when I've never disassembled an AEG in my life? Hah...

push the hop-up assembly in slightly, rotate 90 degrees (clockwise I think), pull barrel/hopup out. Remove plastic retainer clip, slide barrel out of hopup assembly.

I have already removed the retainer clip. (The thing that looks like a c?)
Now I'm stuck with the thing in the first picture i posted. How do I get the barrel out of that? And then how do I readjust or replace my hop up rubber. |

Do I just have to pull the barrel out from the hop up end? I'm afraid I'm going to break something if I do...
