KWA KM4-TAC metal body?

want to replace my KM4-TAC's metal body, so i was wondering which company's metal body that i can use :snipe: because the original body's logo don't look too good!

As far as I've noticed, you should be able to use just about any body that you want. I'm not a fan of the Dboys ones...but with some work they'll do. You may notice that the fit with a Hurricane body is a bit tight, can't say for sure as I haven't tried it myself. The KWA mechbox has a little bit of extra reinforcement up at the front and I'm not sure what fitting issue, if any, that would cause.

You will need a new one piece metal hopup, as the KWA is a two-piece split design. If you do go with a dboys body, skip on the dboys hopup and buy a nice KA Enhanced or G&P unit.

I'd recommend a G&P over a shitty DBoys body anyday. WAY better quality.

KWA S-system metal body is NOT compatible with other metal bodies.

their gearbox uses a airnozzle that is ONLY compatible with their own 2 - piece plastic hop up unit. in which case NON other hop up unit would work.

this means that you wont be able to shoot any BBs at all.

and if you want to keep the original 2 piece and put it on your Metal body, well good luck trying because the bottom feeding piece won't fit anywhere.

also, S-system fore grip can ONLY use S-system compatible upper receiver.

so bottom line, KWA is only compatible with KWA, I've disassembled/assembled for full 20hours just to figure out what I can use and can't use

so that means i only can paint the body and paint some new logo on it right! dame really don't like the original one want to get somthing like "black water" logo on it!!haha
