US Army Issue ACU Combat Shirt
Hey guys, check the picture:
All I've heard is that this is the 2nd generation design from Crye that was adopted for use officially by the US Army. Just wondering if anyone had used or seen it and how it compares to the original combat shirt. Here's a nicer looking view: |

Thats the 3rd generation shirt, and it's made by Massif mountain gear, not crye. It's better in every way shape and form. I'll be getting one as soon as my supplier gets them in. My oven tactical vest is just too damn hot in the summer and shirt collars chafe like crazy.

Neat! THanks for the information TC! What I read was they paid Crye for the patents, but went to another contractor for manufacturing. Anyway its good to know that its as comfy as it looks.

Not sure if the my info was correct. But i remembered reading somewhere in Arnies, that MASSIF only sold those ACU combat shirt to military. and you need a valid military ID to contact them aswell. If i recall, they only accept emails from .mil extensions.
cmiiw.. but thats what i recall.. I think theres some people in arnies that can get them and resell them though. Nicho |

Although a very good point, you also technically require a military ID to purchase an OTV
Fact is when the troops come home and need beer money they'll start selling these things on ebay as they often do. That medic guy one here was taking pre orders for them like 200$ each. Anyway you DON'T want to buy a fake one, not just for poorer materials, but if your buying anything in ACU you want to make sure it's REAL acu! |

I trully agree .. I bought all my MC real CRYE material.. but some were made by OPS... and I wouldnt regret paying for them ever ...
I'm also waiting for this MASSIF stuff.. but the after market price is still abit too high, considering i need to buy a whole system .. guess i just need to wait.. btw oot, just gotten an USMC desert marpart for cheap off ebay.. hopefully they didnt screw around with the pic |

I have one of these. You can order off massif if you are in the US Army. They want a Military ID, Rank, APO, etc. They are comfortable, keep you cool when you have your OTV/IOTV on.

You have to be in Army and be in a certain unit to order it. I'm not in the Army though . I found a way.
